I went into my first coaching session with Nicky after 30 years of running a business that operated in a highly specialised field, unsure, if not convinced, that I had no transferable skills. However over our first 2 or 3 sessions Nicky was able to highlight and convince me that I did have desirable workplace skills.

At the end of our coaching sessions I have co-founded a business in a completely unrelated field of work and on Monday pitching this new business to potential investors. A rewarding and inspiring collaboration with Nicky over my first two starter sessions. One reason I chose Aspire was that I was able to meet up with Nicky in Exeter which I found more productive and relaxed than meeting online.
The initial session was focused on bringing together the ideas I had for freelancing in a creative and positive environment. Nicky was attentive and non-judgemental but also not afraid to ask the questions that needed asking and to challenge my preconceptions of both my own abilities and the sector I was targeting.

I have been coached by Nicky on at least 5 occasions. She has been very good at demonstrating many of the core competencies, in particular, her positive mindset, her aptitude for deep listening and asking the perfect questions.
